Scientific Research Areas

The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is equipped with the latest technology supported with a solid infrastructure. Theoretical and practical courses are being carried out in small groups by qualified and experienced academic staff. Besides, multidisciplinary projects and studies are conducted in an active research environment. Synthesis of pharmaceutical active ingredients, especially the synthesis of the original compounds with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects and identification of structures, investigation of their effects, instrumental drug analysis, and methods for microwave synthesis reactor, are the basic research studies at the department.
