Title: Pharmacist, Researcher, Data analyst, and Instructor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Department: Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Near East University.
I am Adaugo Miracle Ibekwe, a dedicated pharmacist, researcher, data analyst and instructor of
pharmaceutical chemistry with a deep passion for pharmaceutical sciences. Throughout my academic
and professional journey, I have remained committed to excellence, innovation, and mentorship, always
seeking to contribute meaningfully to the field.
I hold a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree from Near East University, where I actively engage in
pharmaceutical research and education. My undergraduate thesis focused on pharmacovigilance, which
fueled my interest in drug safety and monitoring. This early research experience laid the foundation for
my continued exploration of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) models and the application of
social media in pharmacovigilance. My recent research project, “Social Media Versus Other Methods
of Pharmacovigilance: A Comparative Study Using MCDM Evaluation Models,” explores innovative
approaches to drug safety surveillance using advanced evaluation methodologies like the
PROMETHEE method. Additionally, I have conducted laboratory experiments utilizing methylene red
and bromothymol blue as indicators in acidity and alkalinity tests, contributing to pharmaceutical
analysis.
As an instructor of pharmaceutical chemistry, I am passionate about education and student
development. I teach and mentor students in graduation projects, helping them build strong research
and analytical skills. My approach to teaching focuses on fostering critical thinking and practical
applications in pharmaceutical sciences.
In addition to my work in pharmacy, I am also a skilled data analyst with expertise in Excel and Power
BI, allowing me to extract valuable insights from complex datasets. My ability to analyze and visualize
data helps me in research, decision-making, and performance evaluation, making me an asset in both
pharmaceutical and interdisciplinary fields.
Beyond research and teaching, I am deeply passionate about mentorship, content creation, and
professional development. I use my platform to encourage growth, excellence, and purpose-driven
living, guiding students and young professionals toward fulfilling careers in pharmacy and beyond.
While my foundation is strongly rooted in pharmaceutical sciences, I am always eager to explore new
opportunities, expand my expertise, and take on innovative challenges in different areas. I believe in
continuous learning and adaptability, and I remain open to diverse career paths, interdisciplinary
collaborations, and groundbreaking research opportunities.
I am committed to making a lasting impact in pharmaceutical research, education, data analytics and
beyond, embracing new experiences that align with my skills, values, and aspirations.
