Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dudu Özkum Yavuz was graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Biology in 1997. Then, she completed her MSc (2000) and PhD (2006) programmes on the Biology/Botany at the same institution. She took part in the founding team of the NEU Faculty of Pharmacy in 2006, and has been the Vice Dean of the Faculty since 2007. In 2011, she was assigned as the head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Botany. She became an Associate Professor in 2014. Research interests are; Plant tissue culture, Pharmaceutical botany, Medicinal plants, Herbal medicine, Ethnobotany, Essential oils, Biological activity. In addition to her other duties, she has been the Dean of Students of the NEU since March 2016.
