He was born in Erzurum in 1953, graduated from Izmir College in 1971 and Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine in 1977. Specialized in Anesthesiology and Intensivcare in Germany 1983 and worked in Turkish Pharmaceutical Industry between 1985-2013. He joined NEU in 2013 as a lecturer in basic medical sciences.
