COMMON ENGLISH COURSES RULES (All ENG and İNG coded courses)
- All ENG and İNG courses are prerequisite courses
(ENG100, ENG101, ENG102, ENG201, ENG202, İNG100, İNG101, İNG102, İNG201, İNG202, İNG301, İNG302). - Courses coded ING are offered in programs where the language of instruction is Turkish, while courses coded ENG are offered in programs taught in English. Students enrolled in Turkish-medium programs may not take ENG-coded courses, and students enrolled in English-medium programs may not take ING-coded courses.
- Students who fail 101-, 201-, or 301-coded courses must retake the same course in the following semester.
- Students who fail 101, 201, or 301 courses cannot take the subsequent 102, 202, or 302 courses.
- All ENG- and İNG-coded courses are offered in both Fall and Spring semesters.
- If a student takes a 101-coded course in the Fall semester and fails it, they must retake the same 101-coded course in the Spring semester.
- If a student takes a 102-coded course in the Spring semester and fails it, they must retake the same 102-coded course in the following Fall semester.
- Courses with codes 101, 201, and 301 can never be taken in the same semester together with 102, 202, and 302 coded courses.
